Junior College , Belt helped lead the Gators to the JuCo World Series with a 7-2 record, 2.82 ERA and 45 strikeouts in 51 innings on the mound and a .421 batting average with 11 doubles, nine home runs and 57 RBI at the plate.  He has been drafted in the 11th round for two consecutive years, going to the Boston Red Sox in 2006 and the Atlanta Braves in 2007.  After posting the most single game strikeouts (18) in TCL history last week, Price (6-4, 200, So.) continued his hot streak into week nine.  Price faced the Brazos Valley Bombers on Tuesday and struck out 13 in six innings of work giving up no runs and only walked two.  In his last two starts, the Rice product struck out an astounding 31 batters in 13.2 innings.  Price ended the year with a 2.73 ERA and 49 strikeouts, which ranks third in the TCL.    Price becomes the only player this season to not only win an award twice, but to do it in consecutive weeks.  Matt Cavagnaro (McKinney Marshals 06) was the last player to be awarded consecutive weekly awards back in 2006.The TCL playoffs begin on Monday August 6th with the each division competing in a best of three series.
