Bryan/College Station, TX (August 10, 2017) – The 2017 Texas Collegiate League playoffs have windled the four remaining teams down to two, the Brazos Valley Bombers and the Acadiana Cane Cutters.
Over the 2017 Regular Season the Cane Cutters and Bombers were even in the season series, 5-5 over 10 games. The home team has benefitted the majority of the time, both teams are 4-1 at their home ballpark.
The Bombers defeated the Texarkana Twins 6-1 in Bryan Wednesday night behind a 5-run 3rd inning and a strong pitching performance from the staff.
Landon Miner received the win after 5 innings of work, 7 strikeouts, and 1 earned run. He was followed by Ross Bludau, Jesse Philp, and Chase Maddux out of the bullpen to close existe cialis generico down the Twins lineup.
Going into the series, the Bombers have won their last 4 games, but they have all been at the friendly confines of Nutrabolt.
Meanwhile, the Cane Cutters took down the Generals in Victoria in a tightly contested 4-3 victory in 10 innings Wednesday. 
The Cane Cutters struck early with a 3 run 4th inning, all coming with 2 outs off a Gabe Montenegro 3-run triple.
