At Graham, Brian Spear�s big night at the plate and Jordon Street�s dominant performance on the mound helped Denton clinch the Rogers Hornsby Division crown with a 4-3 triumph over Graham on Thursday at Steer Stadium.
The Outlaws won the division title in the franchise�s first season in the TCL. Denton leads second-place Weatherford by five games with three games to play.
Spear�s home run in the top of the fifth gave Denton the lead and Street did the rest. Spear went 3-for-5, while Street (1-1) didn�t allow a baserunner and struck out seven in 4 2/3 innings of relief work.
Graham did all its scoring in the bottom of the first, capped by Steve Ptak�s two-run homer.

Coppell 3, Euless 0: At Coppell, Aaron Brown pitched Coppell to the Tris Speaker Division title with command performance at the Snake Pit.
Brown (3-0) allowed four hits and struck out nine in eight innings as the Copperheads wrapped up the franchise�s first division championship and second playoff berth. Coppell leads second-place McKinney by four games with three to play.
Steve Robison had three of Euless� four hits. The LoneStars missed an opportunity and still trail McKinney by one game for the division�s second playoff berth. Euless travels to McKinney tonight.

Mineral Wells 6, Weatherford 5: At Weatherford, Mineral Wells scored twice in the top of the 12th inning to deny Weatherford�s bid to clinch a playoff spot at Roger Williams Park.
Todd Sebek drove in a run with a sacrifice fly and Ben Burum followed with an RBI double to give the Steam a two-run lead. Clay Britton got one of those runs back on a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 12th, but Wesley Dorsett (4-0) got a game-ending groundout to strand the tying run on second base.
Stephen Bradshaw was 3-for-5 for Mineral Wells. For Weatherford, Clint Arnold was 3-for-6, while Joe Newman, Travis Reagan and Brendan Rubenstein had two hits apiece.
The Wranglers control their own destiny with a 1�-game lead over Mineral Wells.

Highland Park 6, McKinney 2: At McKinney, Daryl Maday�s complete-game effort and a four-run eighth inning led the Blue Sox to their fourth consecutive victory.
Maday (4-2) struck out 10 and allowed six hits. Stephen Puhl, Jarod Freeman and Ryan Hill had RBI singles as the Blue Sox broke open a 2-2 game with four runs in the eighth.
Austin Creps gave McKinney seven strong innings, striking out nine. The Marshals have lost four in a row.
