Kyle Young retired the side in order in the ninth as Euless finally ended the comeback efforts of Highland Park, 9-8, on Wednesday at Scotland Yard.
Euless (4-4) never trailed and owned a 5-0 cushion in the third inning. However, Highland Park scored in the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth, setting up a close finish in the wild contest that featured 22 hits and 20 runners left on base.
Matt Lambeth had a pair of hits and drove in three runs for the LoneStars. Brett Lawler and Isaias Garcia added two hits apiece.
Scott Rooker, Tyler Jones and Matt Berezay each homered and combined to go 6-for-13 with seven RBIs for Highland Park (2-6). The Blue Sox committed six errors which led to six unearned runs.

Coppell 4, McKinney 2: At the Snake Pit in Coppell, Jacob Ramos allowed only one hit in six shutout innings, pitching the Copperheads past McKinney. Ramos has allowed only two hits in 12 innings against the Marshals, picking up the win in both outings.
Bubba Jones drove in a pair of runs for Coppell (7-1), which owns the best record in the TCL. Adam Moore had a pair of hits and scored twice. Brian McClelland tossed two scoreless innings to earn the save.
McKinney (3-5) scored two unearned runs in the seventh on Matt Cavagnaro�s base hit. C.J. Ebarb had the Marshals� only other hit.

Denton 5, Graham 2: At The Ballpark on Bonnie Brae in Denton, the Outlaws scored four times in the seventh, keyed by Brian Spear�s two-run double, to earn its fifth win in a row.
Kris Jenkins gave Denton (6-2) the lead with an RBI single, scoring Kyle Jones. Andrew Brown drew a bases-loaded walk to cap the seventh-inning outburst.
Jackie Smith picked up his second win, while Juston Street notched his second save of the season.
Graham (2-6) scored both its runs in the top of the first as Dustin Martin lashed an RBI double and Steve Ellington was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Tyler Soeder held Denton scoreless through five innings.

Weatherford 7, Mineral Wells 3: At Pratt Field in Mineral Wells, Clay Britton�s two-run double capped a five-run second inning as Weatherford cruised to victory. Britton added a solo homer in the ninth.
Weatherford (3-4) received at least one hit from every starter in an 11-hit night. Spencer Jackson had two base hits, including a double. Matt Greenwich got the win, surrendering two runs and striking out seven in 5 2/3 innings.
Stephen Bradshaw was 3-for-4 and Parker Dalton added a pair of hits for Mineral Wells (4-6).
