At Euless, Steve Robison�s sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh scored Matt Czimskey with the go-ahead run as Euless drew within a game of second place with a 5-4 win over McKinney on Wednesday at the Parks at Texas Star.
Coppell leads the Tris Speaker Division by three games over McKinney and four games over Euless with four games remaining in the regular season. The top two teams in each division advance to postseason play.
Isaias Garcia�s two-run homer gave the LoneStars the lead in the first inning. Jon Weisman got McKinney back in the game with a two-run homer in the sixth and a two-out single in the seventh that tied the score.
Czimskey led off the bottom of the frame with a double and scored on Robison�s flyball.
Chase Tarrant (1-1) got the win in relief, while Tony Lankford picked up the save.

Highland Park 6, Coppell 3: At Highland Park, Eric Evans tossed seven solid innings and the Blue Sox scored five runs in the sixth to deny Coppell in its first chance to wrap up a Speaker Division playoff berth.
Evans (2-4) allowed three runs and struck out five. Matt Langwell didn�t allow a baserunner in two innings to earn the save. Brent Hodge drove in a pair of runs.
Justin Moore and Adam Baum homered for Coppell, which needs a victory or a Euless loss to sew up a playoff berth.

Weatherford 7, Denton 4: At Weatherford, Roberto Mena homered twice and drove in five runs as Weatherford inched toward a playoff spot by snapping Denton�s eight-game winning streak.
Trailing 3-0, Mena�s grand slam in the fourth capped a five-run outburst. He homered again leading off the seventh. Shea Hancock allowed 11 hits but worked out of trouble in seven innings as he improved to 5-0. Kyle Nicholson got the save.
Brian Spear had two hits and drove in two runs for the Outlaws, which have a four-game lead over Weatherford for first place in the Hornsby Division.
Graham trails Weatherford by two games for second place in the Rogers Hornsby Division. Mineral Wells is 2 1/2 games back.

Mineral Wells 3, Graham 2: At Mineral Wells, Jay Brossman�s one-out single in the bottom of the 10th inning, scoring Ben Burum as the Steam kept its playoff hopes alive.
Trent Lockwood went 3-for-4 and accounted for both Roughnecks runs with a two-run homer in the seventh that temporarily gave Graham the lead. Todd Sebek�s sacrifice fly tied the score in the bottom of the stanza.
Tyson Bagley went eight innings, striking out seven. Wesley Dorsett (3-0) got the final out in the top of the 10th. Blake Stouffer had two hits.
