FORT WORTH – This week on the TCL Baseball Magazine, host John Rhadigan from FSN Southwest visits the McKinney Marshal’s Ballfields at Craig Ranch, where we take a look at not only the Texas Collegiate League, but some of their most anticipated players for the 2006 season.

Lesley Floyd spent the afternoon at the TCL Tryouts where she meets a few hopefuls, who are trying to earn their way onto the roster of one of the nine TCL teams.

And the players aren’t the only ones in training. The Texas Collegiate League mascots spend a day with the Rangers Captain himself. The Texas Rangers mascot, Jim Tennison taught the TCL mascots the ins and outs of performing.

Then we’ll take a look at the Legend’s Banquet where the Texas Collegiate League honored Roger Clemens as the recipient of the Texas Legends Award.

And we’ll unveil the first Synergy Properties Group Scholar-Athlete of the Week, D-Bat’s Pitcher and Player of the Week, highlights and much more, on this week’s edition of the TCL Baseball Magazine.
