Ryan Hill had four hits and drove in three runs as Highland Park blasted Weatherford, 15-5, on Thursday at Roger Williams Park. The Blue Sox scored eight runs in the third and seven in the fourth.
Jarod Freeman had three RBIs, while Charlie Kingery and Brent Hodge drove in two apiece. It was the sixth time this season Highland Park has scored 10 or more runs.
Rodney Brantley (4-0) allowed nine hits and three earned runs in six innings to collect the win.
Clay Britton and Robbie Winn had two hits apiece for Weatherford, which stranded 12 runners and made five errors.
McKinney 4, Mineral Wells 2: At McKinney, Brett Robinson allowed only one unearned run and four hits in seven innings to pitch the Marshals to a win at Gabe Nesbitt Field.
Jose Salazar, Louie Alamia and Brandon Glover each had a pair of hits for McKinney, which drew even with Coppell for the lead in the Tris Speaker Division at 15-7. The Marshals have won nine in a row.
Parker Dalton had two hits for Mineral Wells.
Graham 8, Coppell 4: At Graham, Keanon Simon was 4-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs to boost Graham to victory at Steer Stadium. Simon�s homer in the sixth broke a 4-4 tie.
Justin Colbert and Dustin Martin drove in two runs apiece for the Roughnecks. Dustin Willis picked up the win in relief, striking out six and allowing only two hits in 3 1/3 innings.
Coppell tied the game in the top of the sixth on Tyler Hill�s two-run double. Adam Moore had a pair of hits for the Copperheads.
Euless 10, Denton 4: At Euless, Tyler Henley had four hits and John McKee homered as Euless knocked off Denton at The Parks at Texas Star.
Charlie Mellies (2-0) allowed six hits, one unearned run and struck out seven in six innings. Matt Lambeth had two hits and scored twice.
Elvis Herrera homered for Denton, while Joshua Banda and Eddie Vasquez had two hits apiece.
