Isaias Garcia�s double with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning scored Tony Langford to lift Euless to a 2-1 victory over Mineral Wells at the Parks at Texas Star on Wednesday as the Texas Collegiate League resumed play after the all-star break.
Brent Lawler singled to lead off the 10th and moved to second on Tyler Henley�s sacrifice bunt before Langford pinch ran.
Euless took the early lead on Henley�s solo homer in the bottom of the first inning. The Steam answered when Ben Burum, who was 4-for-4, homered in the seventh. Stan Widmann added pair of hits for the LoneStars.
The rest of the game was a pitcher�s duel. Mineral Wells� James Halle went eight innings and struck out eight. Kevin Biringer also tossed eight innings, adding five strikeouts.
Kyle Young (2-0) got the win.

Denton 5, Coppell 0: At Denton, Eddie Degerman struck out 13 and allowed only three hits in seven innings at the Outlaws won at the Ballpark on Bonnie Brae. The 13 strtikeouts tied the TCL individual game record set by Euless’ Chance Corgan earlier this season.
Josh Banda had three hits, Dennis Guinn drove in two runs and Andrew Brown added a pinch-hit homer. Guinn�s two-run double was the big hit in a three-run fourth that blew the game open.

Weatherford 7, McKinney 6: At Weatherford, Clay Britton went 3-for-3 and scored three times as the Wranglers were victorious at Roger Williams Park.
Weatherford scored three runs in the fifth and three more in the sixth to take the lead. John Weisman�s three-run homer in the fourth gave the Marshals a 3-1 lead.
Shae Hancock (3-1) got the win with five innings of work. Hart Hering picked up his fourth save.

Highland Park 9, Graham 6: At Graham, Michael Glomb, Tyler Jones, Drew Holder and Jarod Freeman had two hits apiece as the Blue Sox won at Steer Stadium.
Lance Bina drove in three runs, and Scott Rooker plated two runs to cap a four-run eighth inning that put Highland Park ahead.
Chase Perry (1-0) picked up the win and Michael Gardner the save.
For Graham, Dustin Martin went 4-for-5, Justin Colbert had three hits and John Alvarez drove in two runs.
