At Denton, Josh Banda went 4-for-5 with two home runs and eight RBIS as Denton pounded Weatherford, 11-5, on Tuesday at the Ballpark on Bonnie Brae.
Banda doubled in the first and belted a grand slam in the third that gave the Outlaws a 5-3 lead. He added a three-run homer in the fourth and a run-scoring double in the eighth.
Eddie Degerman (1-0) struck out seven in five innings. Kyle Jones had three hits.
Adam Hale homered and Travis Reagan drove in two runs for the Wranglers.

Euless 9, Coppell 0: At Euless, Charlie Mellies tossed six shutout innings, striking out seven, as Euless blanked Coppell at the Parks at Texas Star.
Mellies (5-2) allowed only four hits and one walk. Tony Lankford struck out three and surrendered one hit in the final three innings to earn the save.
Matt Czimskey went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs to lead the offense. Steve Robison drove in three runs, while Tyler Henley added two hits and two RBIs.

McKinney 6, Highland Park 2: At Highland Park, Jake Arrieta twirled six shutout inning and C.J. Ebarb went 3-for-4 with a home run as the Marshals won at Scotland Yard.
Arrieta (3-3) allowed three hits and struck out four before leaving with a 6-0 lead. Brandon Glover was 3-for-4 and Jose Salazar added two hits for McKinney.
The Blue Sox committed four errors, leading to three unearned runs. Dale Hall homered in the eighth. Highland Park did get the tying run to the plate in the ninth, but Zach Gallenkamp got Scott Rooker to ground out.

Mineral Wells 6, Graham 1: At Graham, James Halle went seven innings without allowing an earned run as the Steam won at Steer Stadium.
Halle (3-1) struck out five, gave up five hits and walked one. Leading 2-1 in the eight, Mineral Wells scored four times, capped by Adam Perry�s two-run homer.
Keanon Simon had two hits for Graham.
