Richland
College) as D-Bat Pitcher of the Week for the June 5-10 games. Kieschnick (6-3, 210, Soph.) led the Copperheads to a 3-0 record hammering a .571 average (8-for-14) with a homerun, three RBI, and two stolen bases. The Rockwall,
Texas native has a hit in all three games this season with a 4-for-4 effort against the LoneStars. The Red Raider outfielder earned Big 12 second team honors after posting five triples, 25 doubles, 13 home runs and a .302 batting average. His 25 doubles on the year gave him a tie with Brandon Toro (1997) for fourth place on the school’s single-season doubles list. Kieschnick also was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-Midwest Region Second-Team for his efforts during the 2007 baseball season.McCain (6-3, 185, Soph.) was impressive in his 10 1/3 innings posting 2-0 record with a 0.89 ERA and 12 strikeouts. After two outstanding relief appearances, McCain earned his first start against the Deputies on Sunday and threw 6 1/3 innings giving up only four hits and one earned run.At
