The McKinney Marshals scored three times in the third and twice in the fourth and went on to a 6-5 victory in the only TCL game played on Thursday.

Brett Robinson improved to 3-0, allowing one earned run in five innings. Zach Gallenkamp followed with three shutout innings and Bryce Cox worked the ninth to earn his fifth save.

Trey Rachal was 2-2 with three rbi, including a two-run duble in the third inning. Louie Alamia’s single drove in the other run in that three-run frame.

Bryan Dykes was the starter and loser for the Steam. Ben Burum hit his league high eighth homer for Mineral Wells. He also tops the TCL with 25 rbi.

Games postponed on Thursday due to rain and wet grounds were Denton at Highland Park; Graham at Coppell; and Weatherford at Euless.

The postponed games will be made up as follows:

Graham at Coppell: Thursday, July 14 as part of dh (2 seven-inning games) at 5:05 p.m.
Denton at Highland Park: Saturday, July 16 as part of dh (2 seven-inning games) at 5:05 p.m.
Weatherford at Euless: Monday, July 18 at 7:35 p.m.

Prior to Thursday, only one of 109 scheduled TCL games had been postponed this summer. In 2004, 31 of the first 84 contests were postponed due to weather.
