Seth Garrison and three relievers combined to strand 12 runners as Euless beat Denton, 2-1, on Sunday at the Parks at Texas Star.
Garrison (1-0) went five innings, striking out five. B.J. Boening, Chase Tarrant and Jared Simon, who got a two-innings save, closed the game.
Euless got all the runs it would need in the fourth when Seth Robinson homered and Stan Widmann added a two-out, run-scoring single.
Denton got its only run in the fifth when Kyle Jones doubled and scored on an error.

Coppell 5, Mineral Wells 4: At Mineral Wells, Chris Williams� three-run homer in the top of the first inning sparked the Copperheads to their fourth consecutive win.
Brandon Knapp (4-0) and three relievers made the early run support stand up. The Steam, loser of four in a row, got the tying run on base in the ninth, but Brian McClelland got a strikeout-caught stealing double play to end the game and notch his third save.
Trey Adams and Justin Baum had two hits apiece for Coppell, which remains atop the Tris Speaker Division.
Blake Stouffer, Ben Burum, Chris Rusler and Damian Gomez drove in runs for Mineral Wells.

Graham 8, McKinney 5: At McKinney, John Alvarez and Steve Ptak drove in two runs apiece as the Roughnecks scored a road victory at Gabe Nesbitt Field.
Justin Colbert had three of Graham�s nine hits. The Roughnecks have won three in a row. Reese Baker (2-1) got the win with 6 1/3 innings of relief work, allowing only one earned run. Devin Collis pitched two scoreless innings for the save.
Brandon Glover had a pair of hits for McKinney.

Highland Park 9, Weatherford 5: At Weatherford, Michael Glomb and Jarod Freeman collected three hits apiece as the Blue Sox won at Roger Williams Park.
Tyler Jones, Ryan Hill and Brent Hodge drove in two runs apiece for Highland Park. Daryl Maday (3-1) tossed three innings of shutout relief.
Weatherford had 13 hits, led by Adam Hale�s 3-for-5 night, but the Wranglers stranded 12 runners to lose their third consecutive.
