The Stars Baseball Academy, a new full service baseball workout and instruction facility, will open in Southlake, Texas this weekend.
The Grand Opening for the Academy, which is located at 325 Commerce St. in Southlake, will take place this Sunday, February 5 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. The event is open to the public free of charge.
The Stars Baseball Academy is owned and operated by former Texas A&M University All-American and major league infielder Scott Livingstone, who is the General Manager of the Texas Collegiate League�s Euless Lone Stars.
The 22,000 square foot facility will include ten hitting cages, four pitching mounds, and an infield practice area. There will be multiple soft toss and batting tee stations, and two pitching machines.
The Stars Baseball Camp will offer private instruction lessons from former major league and college players. For more information, please go to starsbaseballacademy.com.

The Grand Opening Event is being sponsored by Kelley Baseball, Autographs Ink, Diamond Sports, the Euless LoneStars, and the Texas Collegiate League.
The Texas Collegiate League is one of the country�s premier summer wooden bat leagues. The nine-team league enters its third season in 2006 with over 200 of the nation�s top collegiate prospects expected to participate. The TCL season opens on Tuesday, June 6.
