Zac Fisher, East Texas Pump Jacks
Fisher may be a freshman, but he’s playing like a seasoned veteran in the early going this season. Splitting time between catcher and first base, Fisher batted .700 (7-for-10) for the week, clubbing a home run and two doubles for a 1.200 slugging percentage. Fisher also drove in six runs and scored three, and added five walks. He did the most damage June 11 at North Texas, where he went 3-for-3 with three walks, a home run and five RBI.

Pitcher of the Week
Levi Saenz, Brazos Valley Bombers
Saenz turned in a pair of stellar outings to earn TCL Pitcher of the Week honors. He went 1-1 on the week with a 0.53 ERA, allowing only nine hits and one earned run over 17 innings. He struck out ten while walking just one while tossing two complete games. Saenz took a hard-luck loss June 8 against Alexandria, allowing three hits and an unearned run in a 1-0 loss. He bounced back June 13 against Texas, throwing nine innings and striking out seven in a 3-2 win.
