Chance Corgan, Caleb Rodgers, and Kyle Young combined on a three-hit shutout as the LoneStars blanked the Steam. Corgan issued one hit in five innings to improve to 2-0. Rodgers (3 ip) and Young (1 ip) completed the blanking. Euless scored four times off loser Jordan Craft (1-3) in the bottom of the fourth with the big blow being a three-run homer by Keith Stein. Jay Brossman had two of Mineral Wells’ three hits.

The Copperheads scored eight runs in the final three innings tom overcome a 7-4 deficit and clinch the Speaker Division lead at the All-Star break. Trey Adams had the game-winning three run homer in the top of the eighth off loser Robert Conley. Adam Moore had a pair of homers and five rbi, giving him a league high nine home runs. John Infante also went deep for Coppell. Lucas Engle earned his first win with three shutout relief innings.

The Outlaws scored all four of their runs in the fifth inning as the club moved within a half game of Weatherford for the Hornsby Division lead. Josh Banda, 3-4 in the game, delivered the inning’s big blow, a three-run homer, his fifth. The blast came off loser Greg Erickson. Kurt Pessa issued just two runs in seven innings for his first TCL win and Nick Cassavechia recorded a save. Logan Parker was 4-4 with a home run for the Marshals.

Casey Bond’s three-run third inning homer put the Blue Sox ahead for good at Scotland Yard. Daryl Maday permitted three earned runs in six innings to improve to 2-1. Matt Langwell earned his second save. Drew Holder was 3-4 in the win. Weatherford starter Colt Hynes fell to 0-4, allowing nine hits and five runs (2 er) in 3.1 innings.
