After trailing 7-5 with two outs in the ninth inning, the Tomcats scored runs on a past ball and an error by the Copperheads pitcher to tie the game at 7-7.  Ricardo Villareal held the Copperheads scoreless in the bottom of the ninth.  In the top of the 10th, the Tomcats scored 4 runs, and needed all 4 to hang on for the victory.  In the bottom of the 10th, Villareal gave up a 3-run homerun with two outs forcing coach Thad Rhea to make a move to his bullpen to bring in Tomcat’s closer Stephen Tromblee.  After giving up a double to the first batter he faced, Tromblee was able to record a strikeout to notch his second consecutive save in two days as the Tomcats won 11-10.  The win moves the Tomcats to 3-3 this season.  The Tomcats will return to action tomorrow night on the road to face the McKinney Marshals starting at 7:05pm.
