Texarkana, USA – June 21, 2018 – The Texarkana Twins are happy to announce the promotion of Twins Assistant Head Coach Nolan Fanning to the position of Twins Manager, effective immediately.
Nolan Fanning joined the Twins after serving as a graduate assistant coach for the East Central Tigers baseball team, where he has served the last two seasons. Before then, he spent his playing career at Southeastern Oklahoma State, where he earned the Crafton Tull Distinguished Student-Athlete honor as a senior. This season, Fanning has served two games as acting manager of the Twins, winning both games.
Texarkana Twins owner Uri Geva is a big believer in Fanning, as the club looks to finish the first half of the 2018 season strong. “Nolan is a great coach, who demands the best of his players both on and off the field. While it is not easy to take over in the middle of a season, we believe that Nolan will be able to fill the role well and succeed, guiding the Twins to what we hope will be their first TCL championship.”
